A Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to The Rosemount Inn. We are an 11-room boutique inn nestled in the historic Old Stones District of Downtown Kingston. Be inspired by the heritage property and find comfort in our service and hospitality. Whether you journey for business or passion, The Rosemount Inn offers an exclusive retreat while providing convenient access to Kingston’s best. We are located a short walk from the historic waterfront, the Queen’s University Campus, and some of Kingston’s most notable shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
As one of Canada’s oldest cities, Kingston is enriched with both natural and architectural heritage and is host to energetic arts, culture, and dining experiences throughout the year. Our city rests where the Rideau Canal and St. Lawrence River meet Lake Ontario, and is home to Ontario’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Rideau canal, gateway to the Thousand Islands Tourist Region, and a scenic drive to the vineyards of Prince Edward County. Whatever you seek, indulge your curiosity. We look forward to your stay.
Once characterized as “a standing point in the memory of many”, the Rosemount remains one of Kingston’s most striking landmarks. Built by English architect William Coverdale, Rosemount served as a family home for many generations until it was transformed in 1990 into a bed & breakfast. Today, the Rosemount is reimagined as a premiere boutique inn in the heart of Kingston.
Gourmet is our go-to. Prepared fresh by our in-house Chef, an artisanal breakfast is included in every stay. Our menu changes daily but is always guaranteed to indulge your senses and inspire your day.
