The InN

The story of

our Inn

Framed in verdant gardens and nestled in limestone streets, the Rosemount Inn is a universe of transformation. Built in 1850, The Rosemount House was the family home to English dry goods merchant Edward Hardy. Designed by renowned English architect William Coverdale, the estate is reminiscent of a Tuscan villa, with the hallways and the exterior exhibiting Coverdale’s trademark arches. The Rosemount first opened its doors to guests in 1990, and for over 30 years, we have been providing gracious hospitality to beloved friends, guests, and family. Today, The Rosemount Inn remains a Kingston landmark as well as a cherished home, brimming with history and exquisite memories.
